You can report an outage by calling 217-438-6197. Please provide the account name or account number, service address, and phone number.
Outages can also be reported by texting “OUT” to 855-939-3792. If the cell number is associated with an RECC account, an outage will be created and linemen dispatched.
SmartHub is the quickest and most effective way to report an outage; simply click the “Report an Outage” button below and your information will be sent directly to the RECC linemen on-call. Their cell phones will register your outage immediately, along with your name, address, and account number.
