Each year, Rural Electric Convenience Cooperative partners with CoBank’s Sharing Success program to give back to the communities we serve. RECC, in partnership with CoBank, awards up to $20,000 annually to support local non-profit initiatives.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a grant, organizations must meet the following criteria:
Tax Status: Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Location: Must be located within RECC’s service area.
Frequency: Only one grant nomination may be given within the same organization per year. Additionally, we strive to rotate our support across our territory; therefore, preference is given to organizations and communities that were not funded in the previous grant cycle. This ensures that all communities within our service area have the opportunity to benefit from the program.
Our Funding Priorities
We prioritize grants for tangible assets and essential resources that provide a lasting benefit to the community. This includes items such as equipment, program materials, and food security supplies.
Note: We are generally unable to fund for-profit businesses, travel expenses, admission fees, or one-time event costs (such as field trips).
The Application Process
