Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of Members of Rural Electric Convenience Cooperative Co. will be held at the Route 66 Drive In, Springfield, IL at the hour of 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023. This meeting is called pursuant to Section 1, Article III of the cooperative’s bylaws to take action on the following matters: to receive reports of the officers, directors and president/CEO; to elect three directors for three-year terms to the Board of Directors; and to take action on any other matters that may properly come before the meeting.

Registration & Dinner
Members may register, receive meals, and exit using any of the four lanes, however, lanes three and four will lead directly to the parking area for the annual meeting. Vehicles taller than 7’- 6” must enter to the right of the pavilion.
Registration will be done electronically, so bring your annual report to save time. Simply hold up the cover so the barcode can be scanned and you will be all ready to enter. Registration will be open from 5:30 p.m. until 6:50 p.m.
Once you have registered, drive forward to the food tent. Each guest will receive a boxed dinner with a hamburger, hot dog, chips and a snack. After receiving meals, members may exit the property to the east or park anywhere on the south side of the concession building. The annual meeting will be conducted from a white tent, located in the grassy area by the south screen. A few picnic tables will be available, but guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs. The meeting will be broadcast throughout the drive-in, so members will have the option to remain in their cars and listen on their radio. Tune-in information will be announced.
Your family is welcome to stay and watch any of the movies for free. Attendants may ask for the number of guests and their ages to help calculate RECC’s portion of the attendance fees.
