Automated Clearing House
No need to write a check every month, when you sign up for automatic payment through your bank or credit union! You’ll still receive a statement showing your monthly electric usage and charges, and the amount due is deducted from your checking account. You’ll never have to worry about missing the due date. This is also great if you’ll be away from home for extended periods!
Makes your bill paying easier because you’ll have the same levelized payment each month. We average your past months’ usage to determine the budget payment amount, and “balance out” your account every October. The best time to sign up for Budget Billing is in September. Any charges from RECC can be paid conveniently on your credit card, even by phone! Your payments are summarized on your monthly credit card statement, and larger purchases can be spread over a payment period of your choice on your credit card account. You can also sign up for automatic monthly payment of your electric bill on your credit card.
